MacGyver and Nikki Carpenter

This 'ship is one that needs the most explaining. For one season, six episodes, the character of Nicole Barrett Carpenter was part of Mac's world. She was the sister of his best friend who teamed up with Mac to catch the man who murdered her brother. Sparks flew and continued to fly when Nikki joined Mac at the Phoenix Foundation. Unfortunately, TPTB decided Mac was better off as a loner, so bye-bye Nikki.

Fire and Ice: Mac's best friend & Nikki's brother Danny is murdered and Mac & Nikki team up to catch his killer. Their first meeting is priceless!

GX-1: Mac's vacation in interrupted by a mission for Pete & he is none to happy to see Nikki there. Together the must cross the East German border to destroy the wreckage of a downed top secret aircraft. Along the way they meet Starkoss, a Russian with a gift. He can read minds. He has a surprising prediction for Mac & Nikki.

The Widowmaker: Mac looses a close friend in a climbing accident & holes up at Pete's cabin. Danger follows Nikki when she tries to reach out to him and they find themselves stranded on a mountain with Murdoc (Michael Des Barres) at their heels.

Blow Out: The truth about Nikki's past comes out when she is in the wrong place at the wrong time and winds up the target of a terrorist. Look for Don S Davis (XF Captain Scully & SG1 General Hammond) and Bruce Harwood (TLG Byers) in small roles.

Early Retirement: Pete leaves the Phoenix foundation after a mishap and his replacement is the man Nikki is dating.

The Negotiator: Mac's opposition to a waterfront project introduces him to a dangerous woman, who goes after Nikki. Nikki does not appear in, but is mentioned in the sequel to this episode Unfinished Business.
